Taking Care Of Your Jewellery
Make sure your jewellery is the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off. Treat your jewellery well and it will last you a lifetime

What do you look for when searching on jewellery sites?
Well today has been a mixture of photography and then listing products.
I do try and be as descriptive as possible with every listing i do either on the website or on other arenas when selling our products.
I know what i look for when navigating a website, easy navigation, categories that reflect their contents, good search facilities and especially good truthful pictures. What do you look for?
There is nothing worse that seeing a piece of jewelley on a picture, falling in love with it, buying it, then receiving it only to be disappointed with the quality when it arrives.
Fortunately, to date, i have never had anyone complain of quality of products, reflecting again that cheldi jewellery DOES only sell quality items.
In life, i have always treated people the way i would want to be treated, the same could be said when i sell items. I would never want a customer dissatisfied with a product, just as i wouldn't want to be.
I'm always happy to hear comments on the content of our website, so would look forward to replies to this post

What's Your Favourite Gemstone And Why??
All gemstones are unique, that is, there are no 2 stones alike from any string.
What draws you to a particular gemstone? is it colour? the look? the feel?
I have 2 preferences, one is that i like the colour, and secondly, I like the way it feels. That moment when you first put on a necklace, the stones are so cold, they fill your body with a shiver, is that the cold, or is it excitement OR is it both?
My personal favourite stone (if i HAD to narrow it down to 1) I think would be amethyst (the dark purple shade) Amethysts, come in all sorts of shades, but perhaps the most recognisable is the deep purple colour.
If you look closely to any stone, you will see a wonder of shades and marks. Each stone having unique markings and shades. Its only when you look so closely, you will begin to see the magic inside the stone.
So, what is your favourite stone and why? If you look at our new look website, I have also classed stones in colours too as well as just gemstones. This may make it easier if in fact you do have a favourite colour instead of a favourite stone.

A Beautiful Day In Royton Oldham
Today, is lovely sunshine, it isn't even cold. (is this Manchester?) All sounds good? Well it would be if my windows hadn't been so dirty!!!!
The sunshine really shows them up!
So I'm sat here listing some of the most beautiful gemstone jewellery ever, and am being constantly distracted by grimy windows.
Can I ignore them? will the sun go in? No to both of them.
2 hours later and a lot of climbing on furniture, i have a beautiful very large very clean window to look out of!
All great? No the blooming sun has gone off the windows......Come back sally sunshine and show off my clean windows :-(
I suppose you cant have everything in life, i am still listing fabulous gemstone jewellery on our new and sharper website. I'm pleased with its progress..... You may have noticed (as I'm now writing the blog, that i get easily distracted)

A Night At The Theatre its a mystery miss toyah wilcox
Well cheldi jewellery had the night off tonight and took themselves off to the theater! It sounded just what the doctor had ordered!
'hormonal housewives' starring among others toyah wilcox ...........its a mystery!
well 3 middle ageish women going to see an alleged comedy about a time in their lives they will soon be reaching.
Well, the ingredients were there, however that was it. There were 3 females in the show, I have no idea who they were apart from our 80's star toyah!
OMG, it was awful! it had such potential as well. If I had to vote for worst actress ever... Toyah I'm afraid you take that award.
Her timing was well out, every time she spoke she was so wooden, and acting like a pantomime understudy.
The phrase still stands...........'its a mystery' firstly how did toyah get the part? and secondly WHY did i pay good money for that??
I think tomorrow I wil have to lose myself into more work on the website, in an attempt to rid the painful memory of tonight. Toyah.......dont give up the day job

The All New Look Cheldi Jewellery I.T. and me!!!!
Well today I have spent a good 8 hours creating a new front page for our website!! Is it me???
Well HTML and such forth sometimes goes right over my head, the problems that come with age! I'm not quite a dinosaur with the old I.T. but am not a whizz either. It a struggle but I enjoy the challenge.
Theres only me showing an interest in it, buy hey ho, I suppose I am just proud of myself even if no one else is........... yes its blowing ones own trumpet time. and boy do I have some puff!
I know its each to their own, but come on, all constructive criticism is welcome (if it doesn't hurt too much) I've had enough hurt in my life recently, but I digress.
We have decided to go for a more sharp look on our website, and we are now concentrating purely on gemstone jewellery.
We have learned that we cannot offer enough attention to the important jewellery i.e gemstones, when we are diversifying with other jewellery........ So Gemstones you have our full attention at last!
It will take a few weeks to have our full catalogue listed, but bare with us, I'm doing my best. My trouble is. I get so excited about new lines and want everyone to see them NOW..
So please, still feel free to browse, and buy our exciting and classy jewellery even throughout the revamp of the website. I cam assure you orders will still be sent out in the very next post. first class.
